Join watercolor artist Lisse Williams in Gutman Gallery on September 25 from 5-7pm for a brief skill share delving into the world of pigment mixing, using hide glue binding methods that have been used for centuries.
You may ask yourself, what is a binder? Why is it important? Why on earth would I want to mix my own pigment? Isn’t this messy? Will it really work, and will it last?

Kerrytown District retail businesses and restaurants stay open late on this evening as they participate in the festivities. You can expect a variety of artisans selling their wares, food and crafts as well as local food trucks & vendors. Beer and Glühwein will be available for sale, too!
