Join North Star Lounge and Ani Mari, an alt-Americana singer-songwriter from the Northwoods of Michigan’s Keweenaw Peninsula, whose songs weave complex chord progressions into heart-wrenching stories and melodies, spanning from folk to pop rock.

Ani has been touring with her folk duo, Ani & Kora, since she was 12 years old. They’ve independently released two full albums of original songs, Good Fighter and Voyager, and one EP, Dubious Decisions. She currently lives in Ann Arbor, where she attends the University of Michigan and regularly performs at venues such as The Ark and The Blind Pig with her band, Ani Mari & Co.
