Food Justice Session 3: Food & Intersectionality

  • People’s Food Co-op Ann Arbor 216 North 4th Avenue Ann Arbor, MI, 48104 United States (map)

This four-part series will explore food justice, examine the injustices of the current industrial food complex, and inspire participants to create food justice where they live and work. We are what we eat. And, that pretty much explains the mess our world is in today. Session Three speaks to How Food Justice Intersects with Other Justice Issues. Whether you’re looking at racism, sexism, animal rights, workers rights, climate change, water rights, or educational equity, food injustice is at the heart of the matter. We will discuss the egregious impacts of food apartheid and how breaking bread together can hospice out systems of oppression.

This is a free class and everyone is welcome!
