If there are two things that we've learned from the kids at our tastings ... it's that kids have sophisticated palates and that they also really, really like sweet things! We'd like to expand their palates beyond the sugary goodness of cake and candy and Explore the World of Tea and Honey with them in this JUST FOR KIDS tasting!! We'll taste several different types of tea and talk about what makes our tea selection different and special. We'll also talk about why we carry over 50 different types of honey on our shelves. Oh yeah, and we'll taste them all too!
We think kids ages 4-14 would most enjoy this tasting. Parents are welcome to attend at no charge and observe on the sidelines. All participants will receive a 20% off coupon to use after the tasting to eat and/or shop at the Deli. Kerrytown District retail businesses and restaurants stay open late on this evening as they participate in the festivities. You can expect a variety of artisans selling their wares, food and crafts as well as local food trucks & vendors. Beer and Glühwein will be available for sale, too!
