It's time for the Jim Toy Community Center's annual celebration of the “Day of Decision” when #MarriageEquality became law. The speaking ceremony and champagne toast facilitated by Jim Toy will occur between 4 and 5pm in Ann Arbor's historic Braun Court. This year's theme is how far we've come, and how far we still have to go. A detailed schedule of courtyard activities is below.
“No union is more profound than marriage, for it embodies the highest ideals of love, fidelity, devotion, sacrifice, and family... [These families] ask for equal dignity in the eyes of the law. The Constitution grants them that right.”
