“….A longtime treasure of the Cincinnati jazz scene, pianist Phil DeGreg is a versatile modernist who
plays with the sort of supple authority that raises the eyebrows of his fellow musicians.
He turned heads in Ann Arbor the last time he played here…”
~The Detroit Free Press
Cincinnati based Phil DeGreg and Ann Arbor’s own Paul Keller have been good friends and musical collaborators for over 30 years. They met as touring ambassadors for the Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp in the 1990’s and have been reuniting for performances together ever since. Both are skilled composers/ arrangers and they will be playing a variety of original jazz arrangements ranging from American songbook material to bebop, Brazilian classics, the Beatles, and some of their own compositions. They are being joined this evening by drummer John Taylor, a virtuoso player and a member of Phil’s working trio in Cincinnati.
