Appropriately, on the heels of Saturday evening’s Liederabend is the final presentation of KCH’s Fair the Fall of Songs weekend: A Woman’s Life and Love, featuring mezzo soprano, Alta Boover, and pianist, Tian Tian. Beginning with Robert Schumann’s beautiful song cycle, Frauenliebe und Leben, and paired in the second half with a new work by composer, Sara Carina Graef–A Woman’s Life (and Love), featuring poetry by Morgan Parker, Melissa Stein, and Taije Silverman and including famous tweets from current events, this program is sure to be a compelling afternoon of poetry and commentary set to music.
