Internationally-acclaimed Sarod virtuoso Apratim Majumdar and Tabla maestro Amit Chatterjee captivate listeners with their distinguished recitals of traditional Indian Music. Deeply steeped in the Guru-sishya-parampara style, Majumdar showcases his sparkling imagination with renditions that are totally self improvised and meditative in nature. Interwoven with the intricate and subtle rhythms of Chatterjee’s Tabla, Majumdar’s Sarod playing displays virtuosic skill and musical sensitivity over the musical traditional framework of the rāga.
