CBD 101 with Clinton Zimmerman

  • People's Food Co-op Ann Arbor 216 North 4th Avenue Ann Arbor, MI, 48104 United States (map)

Due to an overwhelming amount of interest in CBD and questions about brand quality, dosing, and effects we are repeating this class for those who couldn’t make it the last time it was offered.

Join Clinton Zimmerman N.D, C.T.N, for this free hour and a 1/2 class discussion about CBD oil.

Cannabidiol (CBD) has been getting a lot of press as of late, and word of mouth has been spreading on it even faster. What is CBD? What does CBD do? What can CBD help with? Is it marijuana? What is hemp?
These are all questions we hope to answer for you.

We will be discussing what the difference is between Farm grade hemp verse medical grade hemp. We will talk about the difference between marijuana verse hemp products, and the difference between Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and Cannabidiol (CBD).

The class will talk about the endocannabinoid system that we all have within out brain and central nervous system. We will talk about our CB1 and CB2 receptors found throughout our entire body - and why people are discovering so many health breakthroughs with taking a supplement of CBD.

There are many different formulations of CBD on the market currently, along with many avenues of delivery into the body system. In this class we will discuss the differences, why you may want to choose one over another, or what might be the best option for the health challenge you are working with.

Some health challenges we have already been seeing CBD help aid in the treatment of, just within our store alone..
