There’s magic in each and every experience with the book–we learn the stories behind the authors or the food, learn new techniques and drool over the gorgeous photos. We are excited to bring you a brand new event series called Cook the Books with the Deli hosted by Deli Specialty Foods staffer and epicurious bibliophile Darrell Jackson. Think of it as part cooking demo and part cookbook discussion group all wrapped up in a one-hour virtual package of fun and learning! Our debut book will be Marti Buckley’s “Basque Country: A Culinary Journey Through a Food Lover’s Paradise”, winner of a 2019 IACP Best Book award and numerous other Best Of distinctions. We especially love how this book combines simple ingredients and techniques to produce food that transports you to the delicious cuisine of the Basque region of Spain.
