Join us as we invite Chef MyThy Huynh back for a mid-Autumn Moon Festival consisting of elements of traditional Chinese dishes adapted to our fall harvest!

According to the Chinese lunar calendar, Mid-Autumn Festival is held on the 15th day of the eighth month of the year which is a full moon day. This year it’s celebrated on 9/13/19. The Mid-Autumn Festival is the second most important traditional festival in China next to Chinese Lunar New Year. Apart from the tradition of moon-gazing, it represents the reunion of families, which often come together to eat and catch up on work, family matters, and future plans. Eating mooncakes is an absolute must for Chinese and Vietnamese people around the world as the round shape represents unity and togetherness.
