KCH Melodies & Morsels: Italy Edition pairs a curated tasting of  Italian foods and wines from Ann Arbor favorite Zingerman’s Deli* with the critically acclaimed Italian folk music of Alla Boara. Unearthing forgotten treasures of Italian folk music, Alla Boara reimagines centuries-old traditions through a modern lens. Critically acclaimed by NPR and All About Jazz, this ensemble transforms timeless traditions into vivid, contemporary journeys that celebrate our shared humanity, as surprising, playful, and tender as the songs themselves. Featuring Amanda Powell’s captivating vocals and percussionist Anthony Taddeo’s (Oblivion Project) wildly imaginative arrangements, the storytelling and skilled performances of this group offer audiences a captivating journey through cultural heritage and universal human emotions.
