Kerrytown District Kindlefest event December 2nd 2022 5:00- 9:00 pm
Kerrytown District association will be hosting Kindlefest again on December 2nd, 2022. This years event will be a little different than past years, and we’re excited to welcome shoppers and kick off the December holiday shopping season with a celebration.
We’ll be dividing the festivities between two locations- Fourth avenue between Ann & Catherine, and the Ann Arbor farmers market. The Fourth Avenue location will have food trucks, and we’ll sell our traditional gluevein, and have beer and wine available for sale. There will be music and shops will be open late. At the farmers market we’ll have kids activities, live music, fire pits with smore kits benign sold, and hot chocolate for sale. We shifted our focus away from having the vendors at the farmers market to providing a fun atmosphere for people to hang out at and socialize while shopping at the Kerrytown district shops.
About KindleFest: This festival normally takes place on the first Friday of December in the Ann Arbor Farmers Market and surrounding area. A KindleFest Market, or Christkindlmarkt as known in Germany, features artisans and vendors selling their holiday wares, plus traditional food and hot mulled wine, in a festive outdoor setting. In Ann Arbor, Kerrytown District retail businesses and restaurants stay open late on this evening as they participated in the festivities.
