We love our members and we want to give you an evening that is just for you! Join us at the Museum to celebrate the end of the school year and the beginning of Summer. Join Steve Daut of the Ann Arbor Storytellers' Guild for lore and stories surrounding the summer solstice. Then head over to our StarLab, learn about the different constellations and stars that can be seen in the Summer sky. StarLab is an inflatable planetarium that allows guests to travel through space and see the night sky, even in the middle of the day! We'll also have hands-on activities, refreshments, and face painting by Flutterby Faces Face Painting.
This is a FREE event, but registration is required. Not yet a member, or need to renew? You can do so here: https://purchase.aahom.org/membership.aspx?
Due to StarLab’s capacity, tickets for this add-on event are limited. Make sure you gets yours now! *If there are no-shows the day of the event, we will allow walk-ups on first come, first serve basis for admittance into the StarLab*
We encourage kids to experience StarLab on their own, as long as they are comfortable with being in near complete darkness. If your child feels uncomfortable going inside the StarLab on their own, their parent is welcome to accompany them. Please note: For safety reasons, no babies are permitted into the StarLab.
