The Guild of Artists & Artisans will host a plein air event April 5-7, 2024 around downtown Ann Arbor leading up to the 200 exhibition in Gutman Gallery, an all media exhibition celebrating Ann Arbor's bicentennial! There is no cost to participate in this event, but registration is required.
Throughout the weekend of April 5-7, registered artists should stop in the gallery to check in and get their canvas/paper stamped before going out to paint around town. The gallery will be available throughout the weekend as a space for artists to connect, take a break, or grab light refreshments.
After the event, the artists may choose to submit their works to be considered for the 200 exhibition in Gutman Gallery. Artists may create an unlimited amount of work during the event and may submit up to 3 works for consideration. Artwork submissions for the 200 exhibition can be created during the event or on the artists’ own time.
The Kerrytown District located in Ann Arbor Michigan has become an Ann Arbor retail destination making it convenient to stroll the neighborhood and check off your shopping list at a wonderfully diverse selection of locally owned businesses.

Festive outdoor market features artisans and vendors selling their holiday wares, plus traditional food and hot mulled wine. Kerrytown District retail businesses and restaurants stay open late on this evening as they participate in the festivities. You can expect a variety of artisans selling their wares, food and crafts as well as local food trucks & vendors. Beer and Glühwein will be available for sale, too!
