Fall in Michigan means football, changing leaves and APPLE SEASON! We get excited for local apples at the Deli because they are so delicious in our Deli applesauce. And of course we look forward to Zingerman’s Bakehouse’s Rustic Apple Pie and Caramel Apple Cake coming back from vacation. We also love apples fresh from the Farmer’s Market paired with one of the many varities of honey we source from Michigan and around the world. In this virtual Perfectly Paired event, you will join Deli Event Coordinator Tessie Ives-Wilson and Specialty Foods Manager/honey enthusiast Bea Thaman to learn more about this delicious pairing. You will learn more about how we choose the honey we have on our shelves, who we source them from and their various flavor profiles. Best of all–you will taste! We hope you end the evening with some delicious knowledge and a new favorite honey.
This event would make a fun date night or girls night out–just pour a glass of hard cider or brew your favorite tea. Or bring your kids to the table for a family night activity (sticky hands optional).
