Miss Kim hosts a monthly Suckling Pig Party - each month features a different theme. The theme for September - A Bounty of Fluffy Buns! Come celebrate an ancient Korean festival very close to our hearts The Harvest Festival of the Eighth Lunar month.
For this dinner, Chef Ji Hye Kim will interpret ancient Korean Harvest food traditions to showcase the exemplary produce from our exemplary local farmers. She will regale you with stories about harvest traditions featuring an ancient king, the women he honored and the rabbits in the moon! And she'll tell how she chose to express the classic festival food so she could honor both ancient tradition and Michigan's distinctive terroir.
On top of all this, we're bringing in experts from Laurentide Winery(Leelanau, Michigan) to pair this special meal with wines just as unique to Michigan's terroir.

Kerrytown District retail businesses and restaurants stay open late on this evening as they participate in the festivities.
