Ann Arbor Farmers Market

Located in the Kerrytown district, the Ann Arbor Farmers Market has been connecting producers with consumers for over 90 years! The Ann Arbor Farmers Market operates year round, with over 150 vendors who offer fruits and vegetables, plants, artisan breads, baked goods, meats, eggs, cut flowers, cheeses, flowers, honey, jellies, maple syrup, and crafts. Many organic, sustainably grown, and heirloom items! All products are sold by the people who grow or make them!


FOOLMoon

When:
Friday, April 5, 2019. 7-10pm

FoolMoon is the Friday night kick-off to a weekend of wonder-foolishness in Ann Arbor! During FoolMoon, the skyline will be filled with luminaries, interactive instillations, laser shows, DJs raised into the air, live dance performances, light up hula hoops and so many more de-LIGHT-fool surprises. Participants are encouraged to “make stuff” beforehand and join one of the luminary processions. 

While FoolMoon is moving to Kerrytown this year, the FestiFools parade with giant puppets on Sunday, April 7th, will remain downtown on Main Street. Details for both events and luminary workshops available at www.WonderFoolProductions.org.

Flower Day

The Ann Arbor Farmers Market and Sunday Artisan Market team up to offer a day all about flowers and plants, with growers offering a variety of flowers, plants, bulbs and seedlings (come early for best selection), live music, backyard beekeeping tips, gardening advice from master gardeners, food trucks, kids’ activities and tons of fun!  Some Kerrytown neighborhood business will also host flower themed activities that day. Enjoy the market, then take a walk around the area on lovely late May day! 


Ann Arbor African American Downtown Festival

When:
Saturday, June 1, 2019. 9am-8pm

Where:
4th Ave & Ann Street area 

Celebrating its 24th year, this lively street festival was organized to help remember the contributions of black business leaders and is held in Ann Arbor’s Historic Black Business District. Expect live band performances, with jazz, pop and dance music. Vendors sell lemonade, BBQ, jewelry, handmade arts, clothing, beauty products, books and more. Mascot characters will also be present to keep spirits high. Details at www.a2festival.org.


Ann Arbor Pride

When:
August 3rd-4th

Where:
Catherine Street & Fourth Ave. in Kerrytown

 Ann Arbor Pride (formerly OUTFest) is an annual LGBTQ pride celebration hosted by the Jim Toy Community Center in Ann Arbor’s Kerrytown District, featuring live entertainment, vendors, kid zone, beer/wine garden and more.  See www.annarborpride.com for details.

Kerrytown Nashbash Music Festival

When:
August 22nd 5-10pm

Where:
Ann Arbor Farmers Market
303 Detroit Street, Ann Arbor

A summer evening of live music with a Nashville connection, with food vendors and beer/wine. Hosted by the Kerrytown Concert House and the Kerrytown District Association. Followed by an “afterBash” party at the Aut Bar in Braun Court.

Harvest Festival

When:
October 19-20

Where:
Ann Arbor Farmers Market

The Glass Academy will create one-of-a-kind handblown glass pumpkin throughout the day during an amazing live glass blowing show from 9-4 on Saturday and Sunday in the Farmers Market.   Other harvest themed activities to be announced. 


2019 KindleFest

When:
Friday, December 6th, 4-10pm

Where:
Ann Arbor Farmers Market
303 Detroit Street, Ann Arbor

KindleFest is an annual outdoor holiday market, featuring artisans selling handmade wares, German pretzels, bratwursts, roasted nuts, hot chocolate, Glühwein (a mulled wine) and beer, caroling, strolling musicians, plus fire pits to keep warm and s’more for roasting. Kids activities from 4-6pm.

Tuba Christmas In Kerrytown

Tuba Christmas returns to the Ann Arbor Farmers Market on Sunday, December 8th, with dozens of tuba and euphonium players performing Christmas favorites for a festive holiday sing-along!
